Writing Advertising Copy For Your Email Marketing Campaign

It is a fact; email marketing is the number one way to make money quick, however it is also the hardest. What makes email marketing so difficult is the ability of writing advertising copy that is powerful.

If you fail in this, your prospect will hardly get past the subject line or the first few words before their mouse heads for the delete button.

The fix to this is to begin writing advertising copy that compels your reader to finish the job. For starters, the subject line must include a powerful enough message that will activate your reader's brain to continue. Establishing the link to your reader through an effective subject line will get them to read at least the first part of your message.

Once you have attracted their attention with a compelling subject, do not disappoint them by going in a separate direction! Stick to the subject when writing advertising copy in the body.

If your subject line contradicts your message, the only thing you will accomplish is making an enemy, as your reader will soon discover you are resorting to trickery to get them to read your email marketing message. If that is your approach, how often do you think they will trust your sales pitch?

Writing advertising copy does not have to be formal and stoic, it can just as easily portray friendliness and a true desire to help your reader accomplish something. Take time to identify the problem your reader may have, and offer a real solution in the subject and body.

Again, when writing advertising copy for email marketing, you want to avoid hype and go right for the gusto. The reader will afford you at best 3 to 5 seconds before your email marketing message becomes cyber-dust. If you really want to make money quick in your email marketing campaign, learn the powerful sales words that will eliminate the struggles of making money from your list.
